The world in 2050
Our world won’t be the same in 2050. We will improve our technology and everybody will be able to speak at least five languages. People will live longer and we won’t have health problems, because we will improve our knowledge on medicine. We will also live in peace and the different countries won’t have nuclear weapons anymore. We will also have a single world government as we already have the IMF (International Monetary Fund). I think 2050 willbe a great year for mankind!
Nosso mundo não será o mesmo em 2050. Vamos aprimorar nossa tecnologia e todos serão capazes de falar pelo menos cinco idiomas. As pessoas viverão mais e não teremos problemas de saúde, pois melhoraremos nossos conhecimentos sobre medicina. Também viveremos em paz e os diferentes países não terão mais armas nucleares. Teremos também um único governo mundial, pois já temos o FMI (Fundo Monetário Internacional). Acho que 2050 será um grande ano para a humanidade!
Observe:
As palavras em negrito no texto se referem ao future simples que é formado com o auxiliar modal Will + o infinitivo do verbo principal sem “To” para todas as pessoas.
Formação:
Forma afirmativa: Sujeito + will + infinitivo do verbo principal sem “to”
Forma negativa: Sujeito + will + not + infinitivo do verbo principal sem “to” (Forma abreviada “won’t”)
Forma interrogativa: will + sujeito + verbo principal sem “to”
EXEMPLOS:
I will wait for you in front of the College
(Esperarei por você na frente da faculdade.)
She will only be at home next month.
(Ela só estará em casa no mês que vem.)
They will not (won’t) go with us.
(Eles não irão conosco)
