(Mrs. Trent comes across a fortune teller on the street
Fortune teller (grasping her hand): let me tell your what your
future be.
Mrs. Trent: Why not? Let's' see...
Fortune: you are young and pretty ...Very soon, you'll meet a man...
a very handsome man...He'll fall in love with you ...
Mrs. Trent: Oh! Really? How interesting!
Fortune teller: He'll marry you when you've known each other
for six months...
Mrs. Trent: Fascinating! Tell me more!
Fortune teller: You'll have children and be very happy
together...
Mrs Trent: Tremendous! Well, then, thank you... Good bye!
Fortune teller: What about my money?
Mrs Trent: You'll get it when you tell where I can find my
wedding ring which I have just lost!
You see, I've been married for five years and already have
two chldren!...
Answer the questions in Portuguese.
1- A senhora Trent vai se casar? Por quê? Por que não?
2- A cartomante será capaz de enganar a mulher? Por quê?
3- A senhora Trent pagará a cartomante? Por quê?
4- A cartomante ajudará a mulher a encontrar o anel perdido?
Obs: ‘ll é a forma abreviada de “Will” que indica futuro.
‘ve é a abreviação de “have” que é o verbo ter.
